K9 Program
A K9 unit was established in 2006 and currently K9 Officer Brian O'toole and his partner Calibur are assigned to regular patrol duties.
The program began with K9 Recon and continued with K9 Jager until both retired. Later K9 Anchor took over duties followed by our current K9 known as Cal.
The Lake County Police Dog Memorial is located directly behind the Willowick Police Department and was established in 2016 to Honor K9's from Lake County agencies that have served the community.
